Helping a company become the trusted source of information in the alternative finance sector
Attracting Financial Advisers and Funds to workshops

The challenge
As a relatively new company serving a relatively new asset class - alternative tax-efficient investments - they needed to build a client base for their workshops and educational offerings fast using sales emails.
The solution
We planned a campaign sequence of emails that moved the audience from registering an interest in a topic to accepting a report and then attending a workshop. The sequence began with gauging interest and inviting content suggestions, then kept in touch with the audience, involving them as the workshop content and interest in delegates developed.
The writing
Hi [John],
Hope all’s well,
I emailed you earlier this week to ask about whether you’d be interested in a BPR masterclass running in Newcastle this June. We’ve had a good response so far, but currently we haven’t heard from enough advisers for us to confirm the event.
However, it isn’t too late to express your interest and make the event happen.
[Button]
Yes, I would be interested in attending a free BPR masterclass in Newcastle
The results
Despite financial advisers being extremely time-poor, we achieved email open rates of 20% and recruited enough attendance for the workshops to run.
